(MYFOX NATIONAL) – Parenting can get a little bit challenging during the "terrible two" phase, but Jessica Alba revealed how she is dealing with her 19-month-old daughter, Honor Marie, who says "no" to everything.
According to Lil Sugar , when the new mom dropped in to "Live With Regis and Kelly" this week she told them she has to trick her busy little one into behaving.
“She loves saying no, (it’s) her favorite word. Now she won’t eat unless I tell her not to eat," said Alba on the show. “I have to use reverse psychology on a 19-month-old! (I tell her), ‘Don’t eat your vegetables!’ Then she looks at me defiantly and eats her broccoli.”
The actress made the rounds to promote her new romantic-comedy "Valentine's Day" this week.
She also appeared on "Jay Leno" recently, telling the late night host her rebellious tot doesn't yet know how to share.
Monsters and Critics reports that Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, had forgotten to pack toys on a recent vacation to Mexico -- with some serious consequences.
"I pulled the big amateur move of forgetting to pack Honor any toys," she told Leno. "We realized on this trip that my daughter is a bully ... She would steal her girlfriend's toys and push her and pull her hair for a stroller or a baby doll or a purse."
Meanwhile, according to People.com , Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen is still in the "Mommy honeymoon" phase with her little bundle of joy.
After giving birth in December, the 29-year-old mother calls her son Benjamin "a little angel."
And while Bundchen admits being a new mom is tiring because she is up all hours breastfeeding, she said: "To be a mother is a magical experience. The whole body is transformed by this ... It really is the miracle of life. I am really happy!"
